Stars break Ice Men, 13-3

Harry Graves posted five goals Wednesday to lead the Stars in a

13-3 victory over the Ice Men in a Wales Division game played at Coast 2

Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

The victory allowed the Stars to remain in a first-place tie with the

Renegades and Kings, both of whom also won Wednesday.

The three teams share the division lead at 6-1-2.

The Stars also received four assists and two goals from Gerry Carboni.

Jesse Morrill scored three goals, Ryan Turchi, and Kevin Hamaguchi both

scored once, Tyler Dinley picked up an assist, and goalie Clay Price

recorded 22 saves.

Sam Robinson scored once with an assist, Matt Bastien and Greg Sanchez

also scored, and goalie Jeremy Escalante had 21 saves for the Ice Men

(1-7-1).

Renegades 7, Vigilantes 2

Gregory Williams netted three goals, Christopher Yazzie and John

Gutierrez each had a goal and assist, Mats Degerstedt and Jason Twellman

each scored once, Cory Liska and Jason Gutierrez each had a pair of

assists, Dexter Pattison had an assist, and goalie Marc Cooney stopped 16

shot attempts for the Renegades.

Dylan Lamphear had a goal and assist, Josh Rice scored once, and

goalie Kyle Goode recorded 26 saves, including 15 in the third period of

play for the Vigilantes (1-5-3).

Kings 6, Hat Trix 2

Joe Murphy scored twice, single goals went to Adam Sebrasky, Nate

Jahns, and Kenneth Sabraw, and goalie Casey Maines had 25 saves to lead

the Kings.

Jamie Dyke and Brittany Myers scored and Thomas Lawlor and Matthew

Marchand had assists for the Hat Trix (2-7).
