Boys water polo: Estancia hammers Savanna

COSTA MESA - The Estancia High boys water polo team scored 14

first-half goals en route to an 18-7 nonleague win over visiting Savanna

Tuesday afternoon.

Senior Phil Westfall and sophomore Frank Gamboa each scored four goals

to lead the Eagles (1-1), while sophomore Jesse Hellmich and junior Cliff

Glacy each chipped in with three.

The Eagles will battle Mater Dei at the Irvine Tournament Thursday

afternoon.
