Open letter regarding Aaron Peirsol

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in our

community for helping Aaron and his family to reach their dreams to go to

Sydney for the Olympics.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Aaron and his family for a few

years and it has been an incredible honor. The families of Newport Beach

who have contributed, not only financially but in their emotional support

and good wishes have brought enormous joy to an unbelievable lifetime

experience.

Everyone who has been involved should be proud to know that we have an

exceptional individual representing not only Newport Harbor High School,

but also Newport Beach on a worldwide level.

Aaron is and will be a great ambassador for our community. Thank you

again to Newport Beach for sending Aaron’s family down under and from his

friends that are here to cheer him on.

GOOD LUCK, AARON! GO FOR THE GOLD!
