Speedway: Blind driver team race hits Fairgrounds
COSTA MESA - A full program of Speedway and Sidecar racing will
take place at the Orange County Fairgrounds Saturday night at 7:30, but
it’s the intermission event that could carry a “blinding” experience.
A special blind driver team race will take place during the
intermission on the Costa Mesa Speedway’s bullring oval.
Riders with bags on their heads will speed around the track with their
sidecar teammate guiding them toward victory.
Admission is $10 for adults, $6 for juniors ages 13-17 and $3 for youngsters ages 6-12.
Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and parking and admission are free.
