Kings, Chuckleheads are winners

The Kings and Chuckleheads laid claim to division championships on

Saturday on the final day of play at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center

in Huntington Beach.

CAMPBELL DIVISION

Kings 3, Menehune 2

Bradley Salabury’s goal with five minutes remaining broke the tie and

lifted the Kings to the crown. Colby Rios and Ryan Smith also scored, and

goalie Blake Easton recorded 19 saves for the Kings. For the Menehune,

Austin Shannon scored both goals and goalie Isaiah Jimenez stopped 23

shot attempts.

LEMIEUX DIVISION

Chuckleheads 7, Blades 6

Marc Lopez and Chad Pelliccioni each scored twice and goalie Jeremy

Nelson had 27 saves as the Chuckleheads upset the regular season champion

Blades. Kris Ehret and Kyle Sabraw paced the Blades with two goals

apiece, and goalie Casey Becking had 31 saves.
