Women’s volleyball May returns for college Alumni Game

LONG BEACH - Newport Harbor High and Long Beach State grad Misty

May will join other former LBSU players for a “Dream Team” match Tuesday

7:30 p.m. at the Pyramid.

May was a 2000 Olympic Team member in beach volleyball and was part of

the 49ers NCAA Division I Championship team in 1998. She joins three

Olympians, nine pro players, three National Players of the Year and 11

All-Americans, all former Long Beach State players, to form this “Dream

Team.”

Tickets for chair-back and mid-section seating is $9 for adults, $5

for seniors, youngsters under 17. Bench seats are $6 for adults and $4

for seniors and youngsters under 17.
