SYDNEY, Australia - The United States Olympic men’s water polo team

advanced to the medal round with a 9-3 win over Greece Wednesday night in

Sydney.

goals in the win.

The U.S., coached by current CdM Coach John Vargas, will take on

Russia in the quarterfinals.

Eighteen-year-old Tony Azevedo led the Americans with three goals,

while Wolf Wigo chipped in with two.

Goalie Dan Hackett was strong, holding the Greeks scoreless for three
