Frosh/Soph boys water polo: CdM crushes Northwood, stays undefeated

CORONA DEL MAR - And the streak continues. The Corona del Mar

frosh/soph boys water polo team remains undefeated after its 15-2 Pacific

Coast League victory over Northwood Wednesday.

The Sea Kings are now 12-0 as Griffin Gentry scored four goals and

John Mann got in three. Nadim Hakim went for two goals, while Ryan Moore,

Jason DiRocco, Daniel Niehenke, Jim Strack and John Money each had one.

CdM goalie, Tyler Brundage, recorded seven saves as Northwood was held

scoreless through three quarters.

Among the victories in their winning streak, the Sea Kings boast

Newport Harbor Tournament and Charger Cup championship titles.

CdM will face Foothill Friday in a nonleague game and then the Sea

Kings will take on Capistrano Valley Saturday.
