OCC women’s volleyball: Pirates get one on the road
MISSION VIEJO - After a close first-game loss, the Orange Coast
College women’s volleyball team bounced back to beat Saddleback in four
games Wednesday.
The Pirates improved to 8-4 overall, 2-1 in the Orange Empire
Conference with a 13-15, 15-5, 15-11, 15-8 victory.
Lauren Wilson led OCC in kills for the 12th time in 12 matches this
season, posting 19 to go with 14 digs, which tied her with Stefanie
Gordon for the team high. Natasha Evylnn had 16 kills and five blocks.
Taryn Moore and Kelly McFarlane each had six blocks. Moore also had
three service aces. Setter Tina Nguyen finished with 47 assists.
