OCC men’s water polo: Men upset No. 6 Mt. SAC

WALNUT - This time the Orange Coast College men’s water polo team

wouldn’t let one get away.

After falling to No. 5 Riverside Wednesday, the Pirates topped No. 6

Mt. San Antonio Friday for a 7-5 nonconference victory.

The rankings come from the Community College Water Polo Poll.

“We played very well defensively today, Coast Coach Jason Gall said.

Doug Jacobe, Jeffrey Sample and John Smalley each scored a pair of

goals for the Pirates.

OCC goalie Graham Harvey finished with 10 saves.

The Pirates improved to 8-9.
