CORONA DEL MAR - Capistrano Valley became the latest victim in the

wake of Corona del Mar High’s surge in boys water polo as the No.

1-ranked Sea Kings (CIF Division I, as well as Orange County) trampled

the visiting Cougars in nonleague play Saturday, to the tune of 17-7.

The Sea Kings got seven goals from Garrett Bowlus and another five

from Artie Dorr, as they took a commanding 9-5 halftime lead, then

exploded for a 5-1 third quarter.

Michael March had two goals and Bobby Messenger, Marcello Pantuliano

and Chriss Street each scored in the runaway.

Sherwin Kim had eight saves and Beau Stockstill had five for the Sea

Kings, who return to Pacific Coast League action Wednesday at Estancia.
