* Bristol Street: Grand theft was reported in the 3300 block at 6:59

p.m. Monday.

* Bristol Street: A car was stolen in the 3300 block at 8:55 p.m.

Monday.

* Sterling Avenue: Vandalism was reported in the 2100 block at 9:46

a.m. Monday.

* Victoria Street: A commercial burglary was reported in the 700 block

at 7:33 a.m. Monday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Alderwood: A burglar entered a home in the 700 block through an

unlocked front door and stole a telephone, CD player and vacuum cleaner

at 5:15 p.m. Sunday.

* West Coast Highway: A camera valued at $590 was stolen from a car in

the 2900 block at 9:22 p.m. Saturday.

* Newport Boulevard: About $500 was stolen from a valet-parked vehicle

in the 2100 block at 5:05 p.m. Monday.
