Rampage holds off Hat Trix, 9-7

The Rampage bolted to an 8-4 lead through two quarters of play

Wednesday, then held off a late charge by the Hat Trix to come away with

a 9-7 victory in Wales Division action at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey

Center in Huntington Beach.

Samuel Whittaker led the Rampage with four goals, Jake Fuller scored

twice, Daniel Watt scored once with an assist, Matthew Hiraoka scored

once, Andrew Mastrolia had three assists, and goalie Austin Russell

recorded 23 saves for the Rampage.

For the Hat Trix, Shane Lakes topped all scorers with five goals and

also added an assist, Colten Daigneault scored once with an assist,

Deanna Lynn scored once, and goalie Jeremy Escalante stopped 27 shot

attempts.

Get Up Kids 5, Riptide 2

Brian Elliott scored two goals, James Coelho scored once with two

assists, James Dufour scored once with an assist, Matt Bastien scored

once, and goalie Sergei Sedykin earned the victory with an impressive 46

saves.

Kyle Bezayiff and Chester Kohler both scored, and goalie Ryan Turchi

had 19 saves for the Riptide.

Renegades 8, Kings 2

Jacob Jaramillo tallied three goals, Danny Gandasetiawan scored twice,

John Moore scored once with an assist, Jason Gutierrez had three assists,

and goalie Kyle Goode had 21 saves to lead the Renegades.

Thomas Lawlor and Ryan Hemming both scored, and goalie Casey Maines

had 23 saves to lead the Kings.

NORRIS DIVISION

Thrashers 4, Kings 2

Destiny Mills scored three goals and had an assist, and goalie Kevin

Christi had 20 saves to power the Thrashers. Jared Rassler and Kyle

Merrick scored, and goalie Derris Douty had 21 saves for the Kings.

Flyers 4, Lightning 2

Jonathan Floren scored twice and had an assist, Travis Musacchio had a

pair of assists, and William DeWitt had 16 saves to lead the Flyers.

Darrell McDonald and Christopher Powers both scored and goalie Blake

Easton stopped 26 shot attempts for the Lightning.

Blackhawks 3, Red Wings 2

Kevin Lassen topped the Blackhawks with two goals and an assist.

Cameron Weiss scored for the Red Wings.

Crocodiles 9, Roller Rebels 2

Austin Shannon scored three goals and had two assists, Dylan Verrastro

scored twice, and goalie Jeff Fuzzard had 24 saves for the Crocodiles.

Kevin Caskey and Shaun Black scored, and goalie Tyler Post had 23 saves

for the Roller Rebels.
