* West Baker Street: A robbery was reported in the 1500 block at 11:53

p.m. Wednesday.

* Bristol Street: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 2200 block at

7:52 a.m. Wednesday.

* Center Street: The sale of narcotics was reported in the 600 block

at 6:54 p.m. Wednesday.

* Harbor Boulevard: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 2200 block at

7:52 a.m. Wednesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Back Bay Drive: An ax was reported stolen from the side of a city

fire truck in the 1100 block at 8:17 a.m. Saturday.

* Dove Street: Annoying telephone calls over the last month were

reported by a business in the 1600 block at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday.

Employees said they heard the tone for a fax machine when they picked up

the receiver.
