A book publisher is looking for photo submissions for a new book about

Newport Beach.

The full-color hardcover book is called “Newport Beach: a Photographic

Portrait” and will feature pictures of the city’s neighborhoods,

including Corona del Mar, Balboa, Balboa Island, Lido Island, Linda

Island, Harbor View, Westcliff, East Bluff, Spyglass Hill, Newport

Center, Mariner’s Mile and West Newport.

Jurors will select 120 photographs from all entries for publication in

the book.

While all entrants selected for publication will receive a copy of the

book, three winners will receive $1,000, $500 and $200 savings bonds.

There is no entry fee and those interested can pick up entry forms at

City Hall, 3300 Newport Blvd. or e-mail o7 macbayassoc@home.comf7 .

All entries must be postmarked by Oct. 31.
