Sailors win, 16-2

NEWPORT BEACH - Kelly Nelson, Megan Hawkins and Vanessa Dunlap led

the way with a strong display of singles as Newport Harbor High’s Sailors

turned back invading Edison in a nonleague girls tennis match Wednesday,

16-2.

The Sailors, who’ll be trying to improve on a 4-1 Sea View League

record today at Laguna Hills, are 10-4 overall.

Edison fell to 11-3.
