Men’s water polo: OCC prevails over Cypress

CYPRESS - Christopher Lancellotti scored four goals to lead the

Orange Coast College men’s water polo team to an 11-7 Orange Empire

Conference victory over host Cypress on Wednesday.

Jeffery Sample and John Smalley each had two goals for the Pirates

(13-10, 4-2 in OEC), while Doug Jacobe (Newport Harbor High), Mike

Vaillancourt (Costa Mesa) and Vincent Giglio each added single goals.

Goalie Graham Harvey (Newport Harbor) had four saves for OCC.

Tri Nguyen had four goals to lead Cypress (5-19-1, 0-6)
