Rampage a 6-4 winner
Brandon Prince scored two goals last weekend, and the Rampage
collected another Wales Division victory, beating the Riptide, 6-4, in a
match played at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.
Matthew Hiraoka handed out three assists as the Rampage improved its
division-leading record to 3-0-1.
Samuel Whittaker and Andrew Mastrolia each had a goal and assist, Josh
Rice and Cory Liska both scored once, Jake Fuller had an assist, and
goalie Austin Russell recorded 28 saves for the Rampage.
Jason Moore and Kyle Bezayiff each scored twice, Lotey Kinney had a
pair of assists, and goalie Ryan Turchi stopped 32 shot attempts to lead
the Riptide (1-3).

Kings 8, Hat Trix 7
In a wild one, the Kings outscored the Hat Trix, 3-2, in overtime to
even their record at 2-2.
David Finney scored a division-best five goals, including one in
overtime. Jeremy Garland, Dexter Pattison and Jeremy Miller scored single
goals; Finney and Miller also had one assist apiece; and goalie Casey
Maines had 32 saves for the Kings.
Shane Lakes scored three goals, Greg Sanchez and Kevin Mahoney each
scored once with an assist, Tyler Lakes scored once, and goalie Jeremy
Escalante had 25 saves to pace the Hat Trix (1-3).
Renegades 9, Get Up Kids 1
Darryl Morita scored twice; Danny Gandasetiawan, John Moore, Adam
O’Connor, Jacob Jaramillo and Jamie Dyke all scored once; Jason Gutierrez
and Gandasetiawan each had three assists; and goalie Kyle Goode had 18
saves for the second-place Renegades (3-1).
James Coelho scored off an Eric Brazile assist, and goalie Sergei
Sedykin had 34 saves to lead the Get Up Kids (1-2-1).
