Rohrabacher is sharply critical of the Clinton administration’s

approach to China.

“I was not sent to Washington, D.C., in order to have higher taxes and

more spending programs. So for 12 years I’ve received high marks from a

large number of organizations and groups that are focused on limited

government.”

* OIL PRICES

He called in March for the Clinton administration to take action to

deal with rising oil prices.

“We are being gouged by some of the countries we are defending,” he

said.

* INTERNATIONAL FINANCE

He opposes U.S. funding of the International Monetary Fund and World

Bank intervention in “corrupt Third World economies.”
