* Newport Boulevard: A person was reportedly drinking in public in the

1800 block at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

* Sunflower Avenue: Possession of drug paraphernalia was reported in

the 1100 block at 3:11 a.m. Thursday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Newport Center Drive: Grand theft was reported in the 600 block at

7:50 p.m. Friday.

* West Coast Highway: Two people were reportedly fighting in public in

the 2900 block at 2:30 a.m. Friday.

* University Avenue: Six credit cards from two purses inside a car

were reported stolen in the 2300 block of University Avenue at midnight

Saturday.

* 16th Street: A person was reportedly fishing without a license near

the intersection with Irvine Street at 3:15 a.m. Saturday.
