Atomic Punks pick on Flyers, 3-2

The Atomic Punks handed the first-place Flyers their second loss of

the season Tuesday as Mikel Ehret scored two goals to lead the way in a

3-2 Howe Division match played at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in

Huntington Beach.

Garrett Ono also scored, and goalie Christopher Torres stopped 14 shot

attempts as the Atomic Punks improved to 2-3-2.

Adam Bosch scored once with an assist, Blake Easton scored, and goalie

Brent Holden had 23 saves for the Flyers, who fell to 4-2.

Red Wings 7, Jackals 2

Jamie Schlegel scored three goals and had an assist, and Matthew

Chisum scored once with an assist as the Red Wings (1-2-2) collected their first win of the season. Raffi Tchekmedyian and Cooper Meachum

scored, and goalie Colten Daigneault had 22 saves for the Jackals

(2-2-2).

Saints 5, Razors 2

Single goals went to Donovan Gonzalez, Jordan Wallace, Ali Plummer,

Aaron Fulmer and Davis Brode, and Chase Holzhauer and Tip Donaldson each

had two assists to lead the Saints (3-2-1). Bryon Berryhill dished out

two assists, Jordan John and Danny Lu each scored, and goalie Sam

Robinson had 25 saves for the Razors (2-5).
