AYSO Region 57: Orange Revenge blank White Tigers

Mitchell Williams scored two goals to lead the Orange Revenge to a

3-2 win over the White Tigers Saturday in AYSO Region 57 Division 4 boys

action.

Scotty Smith added an insurance goal for the Revenge, while Andrew

Mason, Jared Rivera-Ashley, Greg Sanford and Dustin Carpenter controlled

the midfield.

The Revenge’s defense was anchored by Matt Langel, Carson Carpenter,

Ryan Kent and Charlie Long.

Kyle Tomlin and Steve Hillgren each scored goals for the White Tigers,

while Cole Shepard, Robbie Orgorek and Matt Moore each played well on

both sides of the ball.

In other boys Division 4 action:

Silver Baboons 2, Chick Magnets 0 - Tyler Case and Sam Nadlman each

scored goals and Jacob Goulding had an assist to lead the Silver Baboons

over the Chick Magnets.

The Baboons’ defense, led by Dean Pospisil, Andrew Martinez, Evan

Livadas, Conner Corrigan, Nick Booth and Aman Sahni, preserved the

shutout, while goalkeepers Bryce Donavon and George Logan withstood the

Magnets’ offensive attacks.

Blue Devils 2, Red Devils 0 - In a “devilish” battle, Luke Griner

scored both goals in the Blue Devils’ victory.

Paul Bioche assisted on Griner’s first goal, while Tyler Ellis

assisted on the second.

The Red Devils’ offense was stopped by Andrew Gartner, Parker Rhodes,

Mike Brusic and goalkeeper Geoffrey Grant.

In boys Division 6 action:

For the Blue Blizzard in their match with the Green Hornets, Clark

Cashion and Ryan Grable each scored goals, while the defense was led by

Everett Scholey and Nicholas Manning.

In the Green Devil Rays’ contest with the Purple Panthers, Billy

MacDonald scored three goals on assists from Alex Matar, Kent Smith and

Eric Zamucen. Brandon Zelner added a goal of an assist from Connor

Canale, while the defense was strong behind the play of Kevin Maguire,

Pete Rigans and Tanner Grandstaff.

The Firebolts’ Alex Morrison had two goals in their match against

Purple Killer Whales.

Connor Gaal, Zack Morrison, Graeme Fraser and Ben Greiner provided

solid passing for the goals, while Dalton Brewster, Jeff Condion and

Michael Drews anchored the defense.

For the Blue Dominators, in their matchup against the Red Bombers,

Nick Gooding, Hector Marino, Nick Delotell and Jonathon Ren-Menagem each

scored goals.

The midfield was controlled by the Dominators’ Zack Socoloske and Ryan

Grainger, while the defense was led by Ned Atkins.

The Bombers’ offense was sparked by Blake Thomsen’s three goals, while

Sammy Witte added two goals.

Miles Solomon and David Fenner were strong in goal for the Bombers,

while Jesse Marans and Ford Hanour provided the defense.

For the Fireballs, in their matchup against the Green Machine, Jack

Gorab scored three goals, while Nick Molinaro, Kevin Kitzens and John

Swigart each scored one.

Fireballs’ goalkeeper Matthew Burt stopped numerous shots, while

Anthony Deboub and Matt Larson provided strong all-around play.
