Women’s soccer: Cobb, Jacobs named to All-GSAC team

COSTA MESA - Two Vanguard University women’s soccer players were

chosen to the All-Golden State Athletic Conference team.

Senior Ganesa Cobb and junior Annie Jacobs were two of the 22 players

selected by the GSAC coaches from the Lions’ squad.

Cobb, a first-time, All-GSAC selection, led the Lions with nine goals

and four assists. In her 69 games, Cobb tallied 25 goals and 21 assists

as a VU midfielder.

Jacobs, a three-time all-conference selection, scored five goals and

recorded two assists this year. An All-NAIA honorable mention selection a

year ago, Jacobs has scored 24 goals and dished out 11 assists in her three seasons at Vanguard.
