Opera Pacific recently reported a new record for ticket sales with its

production of “The Magic Flute” at the Orange County Performing Arts

Center. Sales for the five performances, including one that was added to

the subscription series, reached $778,999, or $155,800 per night. The

last show to have five performances, “La Traviata,” made only $142,563

per night ($742,815 total).

‘Pooh Christmas Tail’ performances set

Trilogy Playhouse will present a musical production of A.A. Milne’s “A

Winnie-The-Pooh Christmas Tail” from Dec. 8-23. Performance times are 7

p.m. Fridays and 3 and 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are $12 and

$10. The playhouse is at 2930 Bristol St., Building C-106, Costa Mesa.
