Women’s basketball: OCC earns quarterfinal win in Cuesta

SAN LUIS OBISPO - The Orange Coast College women’s basketball team
used the three-point shot to grab a 73-64 win over Antelope Valley in the
quarterfinals of the Cuesta Tosco Invitational Thursday.
The Pirates (4-4) move on to the semifinals, today at 6 p.m., against
Allan Hancock College.
Karyn Fierst and Kiersten Melville scored a game-high 18 points each,
while Nadia Mojica finished with a double-double, 15 points and a
team-high 11 rebounds.
