Women’s basketball: Lions conquer Grand Canyon

COSTA MESA - The Vanguard University women’s basketball team

defeated visiting Grand Canyon University, 78-68, Friday night in

nonconference action at The Pit.

Laura Lee had 16 points to lead the Lions (3-1), while Robbin Dittenbir chipped in with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Beth Weidler and Courtney McKinney also contributed to the Lions’

offense with 12 points apiece.
