Treasures on Consignment has a wide assortment of newly consigned
items, such as china, stemware, bowls, vases, a beautiful pair of Saint
Louie crystal candlesticks to add to your holiday table, and trays
perfect for hors d’oeuvres or cookies. “Silver lights up a table and you
can select from silver tea sets, flatware and candelabras,” says Chris
Morgan, the volunteer director of Treasures on Consignment. “Lladro
Christmas bells, Christopher Radko tree toppers and a Fitz & Floyd
holiday cookie jar are just a few of the seasonal decorating items on
hand. There is also a new 14-foot alderwood dining room table with 12
burgundy chenille tapestry armchairs from a Beverly Hills mansion. “This
dramatic dining room set must be seen to be appreciated.” Treasures on
Consignment, at 2220 Fairview Road in Costa Mesa, is run entirely by
volunteers of the Assistance League of Newport Mesa. All profits benefit

the store, and everything is reduced 10% to 40%. Antiques 4 You carries

G. Wayne Eggleston of the Newport Harbor Nautical Museum says it’s a
great time to visit the museum gift shop. “You’re sure to find great
items for all those ‘nautical types’ on your shopping list,” says
Eggleston. “New holiday items include puzzles, books, wooden boats and,
of course, those special ornaments you collect or give as hostess gifts.”
There are also tables full of sales merchandise, with everything marked
down 30%. Also, all clothing and hats are reduced 30% during the sale
