HUNTINGTON BEACH - In a battle between teams coached by Orange

Coast College men’s soccer assistant coaches, host Huntington Beach

earned a 6-0 nonleague boys soccer win over Corona del Mar Friday.

Huntington, coached by Kevin Smith, built a 5-0 halftime lead, giving

Smith bragging rights over his OCC colleague, Pat Callaghan.

Danny Marshall had the best scoring chance for CdM (0-3-0), with a

header off a corner kick and Geoff Collier had seven saves for the Sea

Kings.

The Oilers, ranked No. 7 in Orange County, remain undefeated.
