* Placentia Avenue and Swan Drive: Drinking in public was reported at

4:10 a.m. Monday.

* Newport Boulevard: Sale of drugs was reported in the 1600 block at 3

p.m. Monday.

* West 19th Street and Placentia Avenue: Possession of drugs was

reported at 3:35 p.m. Monday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* West Balboa Boulevard: Damage to a telephone line was reported in

the 1900 block at 11:45 a.m. Sunday.

* Diamond: A surfboard and two fishing rods were stolen from a garage

in the 300 block at noon Sunday.

* Irvine Boulevard: Vandals poured shampoo on and toilet papered a car

in the 1100 block at 1:51 p.m. Sunday.
