The Huntington Beach High Winter Baseball Camp will run from Jan.

3-5, Oiler Head Coach Benji Medure announced.

Medure, along with Asst. Coach Cory Burton and Rusty McNamara, will

give youngsters camp instruction. Burton played college ball at Oklahoma

State and McNamara played at the AAA level for the Philadelphia Phillies.

Winter Slo-Pitch league offered

The City of Huntington Beach Community Services Department is offering

a Winter Adult Slo-Pitch Softball League. The registration deadline is 5

p.m. Jan. 9. League games will be played Sunday through Friday evenings.
