* Alva Lane: Vandalism was reported in the 300 block at 7:39 a.m.

Thursday.

* Harbor Boulevard: Grand theft was reported in the 2700 block at

12:55 p.m. Thursday.

* Mesa Verde Drive East: A car was stolen in the 1500 block at 6:24

a.m. Thursday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* East Coast Highway and Poinsettia Avenue: Two wheels and a tire were

stolen from a parked car at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday.

* West Coast Highway: A cellular phone was stolen from a purse in a

restaurant in the 2600 block at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

* Newport Center Drive: Vandals smashed the interior window of an

office in the 400 block at 7:50 a.m. Thursday.
