Mesa Consolidated Water District will begin its free 2001 Water Issues
Study Group program at 7 p.m. Jan. 17 with the first of six monthly water
education meetings.
The 15-year-old program, created to educate community members about
water issues, will include lectures on the third Wednesday of every month
from January to June.
Topics will include ground-water supplies, water quality, reclaimed
water, imported water and the district’s long-range water management
plan.
Water facility tours also will be available to participants in the
program.
The meeting will be held at the district’s office, 1965 Placentia
Ave., Costa Mesa.
