Girls basketball: Sailors fall to Woodbridge

IRVINE - The Newport Harbor High girls basketball team lost, 79-30,

to host Woodbridge in Sea View League action Tuesday night.

Junior Evita Castillo led the Sailors (2-19, 0-3 in league) with 13

points, while sophomore Athena Vasquez chipped in seven against the

Warriors, ranked No. 3 in CIF Southern Section Division I-A.

Following a bye on Thursday, the Sailors will continue Sea View League

play at home against Aliso Niguel Tuesday night at 7.
