Lazer Blades blank Razors, 3-0

Combining a tough defense with a balanced scoring attack, the Lazer

Blades posted a 3-0 victory last weekend over the Razors in a Campbell

Division match played at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington

Beach.

The Lazer Blades defense played well, with goalie Janien Barber

recording 11 saves and the shutout.

Zachery Jones, Parker Miller and Ty Barbo all scored, and Alexander

Schaffner picked up an assist to complete the Lazer Blades’ attack.

Razors’ goalie Garrett Haar had 13 saves.

* Menehunes 5, Warriors 1

Taylor Yamaoka poured in three goals, Marcus Kurth and Cody Ferrer

each scored once, Casidhe Kunichika, Grant Murchison, Jared Neely and

Chase Parks were credited with assists, and goalie Justin Pederson had 10

saves to lead the Menehunes.

John Sacco scored unassisted, and goalie Sean Wing recorded 22 saves

for the Warriors.

* Hurricanes 6, Panthers 1

Trevor Jackson and Dimitri Coutsoyannopoulos each scored twice, Quinn

Piper had two assists, Dallas Heyden scored once, and goalie Sean

O’Connell had nine saves for the Hurricanes.

Ryan Tyson scored off a Michael Godinho assist, and goalie Katie Goode

had 19 saves for the Panthers.

* Slapshots 6, Blackhawks 1

Travis Beckman scored twice, Ramie Masters, Robert Oliver and Zachary

Malloy all scored once, James Andrews had a pair of assists, Trervor

Dunbar and Timothy Francis each had an assist, and goalie Sean Easton had

11 saves to pace the Slapshots.

John Goldsby scored the lone goal for the Blackhawks, and goalie Brian

Kinder stopped 26 shot attempts.
