The All-American Boys Chorus is holding auditions this month for boys

8 to 10. No previous musical experience is required for the initial

audition, and there is no charge for membership. The chorus is open to

boys of all races, faiths, creeds, nationalities and ethnic origins. A

general information meeting for parents and boys will be held from 7:15

to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Boys Chorus Headquarters at the Orange County

Fairgrounds, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa. To schedule an audition, parents

Chorale’s boys chorus to hold tryouts

The Pacific Chorale Boys Chorus will hold auditions by appointment

only from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 27 at Calvary Church, 1010 N. Tustin Ave.,

Santa Ana. The audition is open to boys ages 8 to 12. The chorus, whose

performance venue includes the Orange County Performing Arts Center, is

directed by Gail Barr, an elementary vocal music teacher in the Orange
