COSTA MESA

* Fair Drive: A home burglary was reported in the 400 block at 12:50

p.m. Friday.

* Fillmore Way: Police responded to a report of a vehicle burglary

involving a stereo and wallet in the 3000 block at 6:30 a.m. Sunday.

* Placentia Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 1700 block at

10:30 a.m. Friday. A cellular phone was taken.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Balboa Pier: A commercial burglary was reported on the pier at 5:16

a.m. Monday. An unknown suspect entered a closed business through an

unsecured window and took $4,936.34 in cash.

* Campanile: A grand theft was reported in the 1100 block at 1:43 p.m.

Saturday. The victim lost a diamond ring, which was on a counter in the

master bedroom.

* Dove Street: Police responded to a report of a grand theft of a

computer in the 800 block at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

* Newport Boulevard: A petty theft was reported in the 2600 block at

11:35 a.m. Sunday.

* Newport Center Drive: A commercial burglary was reported in the 600

block at 3:58 p.m. Monday. The culprit or culprits took $250 and a

digital camera.
