OBITUARY

Burial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday for Robert Lawrence

Ignatius, a 35-year Huntington Beach resident and Ocean View School

District teacher. He was 79.

Mr. Ignatius was born in Duluth, Minn., he graduated from the

University of Minnesota and served in the Marine Corps during World War

II and the Korean War. He was a teacher for more than 30 years, most

recently at Ocean View’s Rancho View and Circle View elementary schools.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria; daughters, Maureen Crayton and

Dianne Paterson; sons, David Ignatius and Robert Tierney; and nine

grandchildren.

Burial services will be held at Good Shepherd Cemetery, 8301 Talbert

Ave., Huntington Beach.
