CYPRESS - Orange Coast College dropped a 63-58 decision in women’s

basketball Wednesday night as host Cypress captured the Orange Empire

Conference matchup.

The Pirates, 13-13, 3-6 in the OEC, had three players in double

figures (Kirsten Melville with 14 points and Karyn Fierst and Nadia

Mojhia with 13 apiece), but were unable to offset the 21-point scoroing of Randie Washington.

Cypress improves to 10-15, 4-5.
