Roller hockey: CdM remains in first place

The Corona del Mar club roller hockey team defeated Capistrano

Valley, 8-2, for its third straight victory.

CdM’s scoring was led by Austin Chase with 10 goals and four assists

during the team’s three-game winning streak. Adam Freede has added seven

goals and five assists in that same three-game span.

Defenseman and team captain Ryan Stockwell has chipped in with a goal

and five assists, while assistant captain Blake Smith has chipped in five

goals and one assist.

CdM netminders Evan Cooper and Eric Murowitz have combined for 51

saves on 62 shots during the winning streak.
