COSTA MESA

* Bristol Street: A 28-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of

battery and petty theft in the 3300 block at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday.

* Cabrillo Street: A woman, 27, was arrested because of an outstanding

warrant in the 100 block at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

* Danbury Lane and Vanguard Way: A 25-year-old man was arrested

because of an outstanding warrant at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday.

* Federal Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 1900 block at 3:35

p.m. Wednesday.

* Fountain Way: A woman, 30, was arrested on suspicion of being under

the influence of alcohol or drugs and violating her probation in the 2200

block at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Clinton Street: A man, 38, was arrested on suspicion of driving with

a suspended license in the 14300 block at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday.

* Joel Avenue: Deputies arrested a 31-year-old man in the 7900 block

at 11 a.m. Monday.

* Newport Boulevard and 17th Street: A man, 22, was arrested on

suspicion of appropriating lost property at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

* Newport Center: A man, 25, was arrested on suspicion of committing a

petty theft in the 700 block at 5:43 p.m. Monday.

* San Bruno: A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of

obstructing justice and resisting or delaying a police officer in the

1900 block at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday.
