For those of you who think that Dennis Rodman just threw a couple of

thousand bucks (a couple of hundred thousand bucks maybe? We’re dying to

know) at the owner of Josh Slocums Restaurant and told him to go buy

stuff and fix the place up, well, we’ve got news for you.

Kevin Finegold, the owner, had already told us last week that Rodman

was playing a crucial role in the redesign of the place. But being the

sceptical crowd that we are, we didn’t quite believe it until spotting

Rodman’s black stretch limo in the restaurant’s parking lot Friday

morning.

Rodman must have seen us coming and managed to ride off before we had

time to sit down and chat about his new career as an interior designer.

We always seem to just miss him.

But a quick call to one of his friends confirmed our suspicions. It

seems like Mr. Outrageous is going all “Martha Stewarty” on us.

“He’s helping out a little bit,” admitted Doug McAllister, who works

with Rodman. “He’s got a good knack for this stuff.”

What’s coming next, Dennis? A show on Home & Garden Television?

Well, we’ll leave that up to you. But maybe you could link it to your

Web page.

In the meantime, the new Josh Slocums will probably open for business

this Friday, said McAllister.

Will “he” be there?

McAllister said he’d imagine so.
