READERS HOTLINE -- Sunday edition brightens some homes

I’d like to thank the Daily Pilot for the seventh day. The Sunday

paper is absolutely marvelous. I missed it during the 10-year hiatus. I’m

still enjoying the paper.

Wow! Daily Pilot, you have hit a home run. Thank you for the Sunday

edition.

Why on earth are you wasting paper on a Sunday edition? The Monday

through Thursday editions are already completely useless. Get rid of some

of the columnists and hire a competent reporter or two to print actual

news.

And for heaven’s sake, get a reporter who can understand and write

decent English. Their grammar is atrocious when they do print something.

Who on earth is interested in the supposedly ever-popular “On

Vacation” photos? Nobody, but the people in the pictures. Quotable quotes

-- who cares? Try giving us something decent.

The last time you had a decent paper was back when you were printing

it three times a week.

I just wanted to say thank you for the Sunday edition. I have one

complaint, however. The tiny print of the crossword puzzle made it

extremely difficult to those without perfect eyesight. You’ve got lots of

room in the Sunday paper -- make them bigger please. Thanks a lot.

Otherwise it was great.
