Pet of the week

Patches, a kitten who lost both eyes because of an infection, is

available through the Community Animal Network. Patches is about 9 weeks

old and likes to chase string and play with his mother, Pearl. The

Community Animal Network has requested that Pearl and Patches be adopted

together by someone who does not move their furniture often, which will

make it easier for Patches to find his way around.

Donations are being accepted for Patches’ veterinarian bills.

See other rescued dogs and cats each Saturday and Sunday from noon to

4 p.m. at Russo’s Pet Experience at Fashion Island, Newport Beach.
