Hawks clip the Siege, 8-6

The Hawks broke open a tight game with the Siege on Tuesday by scoring

four goals in the third period, and the team went on to post an 8-6

Lemieux Division victory in action at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center

in Huntington Beach.

David Kirchner scored three goals; Brian Ayala netted a pair of

scores; Derek Zellmer, Michael Kirchner and Jake Bartley all scored once;

and Bartley, Kirchner, Gerardo Gomez and Nick LeMonnier each had assists

for the Hawks.

Goalie Kyle Concannon recorded 20 saves.

For the Siege, Jessen Zimmerman scored twice and also assisted two

other scores, Liam O’Halloran scored twice and had an assist, Greg Pearce

scored two goals, and Matt Walker and Matt Kurokawa each had an assist.

Goalie Cliff Smith stopped 12 shot attempts.

Blades 5, Extreme 4

Heycier Doerr scored twice with an assist, Matthew Stoops had a goal

and two assists, John-Michael McNulty and Kris Ehret each scored with an

assist, and goalie Casey Becking had 23 saves to lead the Blades.

Chaz Grant scored twice and added an assist, Corey Ochoa handed out

two assists, and goalie Rex Dunn had 28 saves for the Extreme.

Chunks 6, Rockers 3

Chad Pelliccioni slapped in three goals and also had an assist, Sean

Belisle scored twice, Brad Bruce scored once, Stephen Miller and Angie

Ramsey each had two assists, and goalie Jason Gutierrez had 28 saves to

power the Chunks.

Troy Miller, Gerry Carboni and Joshua Hackworth all scored, Brett

Stoughton and Steven Lynn had assists, and goalie Jeremy Nelson had 29

saves for the Rockers.
