Men’s tennis: Pirates fall to Irvine Valley

IRVINE - The Orange Coast College men’s tennis team lost is Orange

Empire Conference opener with host Irvine Valley, 7-2, Wednesday

afternoon.

The Pirates (0-5) played with only four players. The teams of John Vu

and Sean Harper, as well as Tony Garcia and Leo Romano each won in

doubles, but OCC was swept in singles.

The Pirates will play at Riverside Friday at 2 p.m.

Kassaian, 1-6, 0-6, IVC by default, IVC by default.

Doubles - Vu-Harper (OCC) def. Flores-Morgan, 8-4, Garcia-Romano (OCC)
