* Begonia Avenue: Someone reported an auto tampering in the 11000
block at 7:26 a.m. Monday.
* Brookhurst Street: A burglar alarm was set off in the 18000 block at
9:39 a.m. Saturday.
* Bunting Circle: Police responded to vehicle burglary in the 10100
block at 9:22 a.m. Friday.
* Durango River Court: Police responded to a petty theft report in the
10200 block at 8:25 a.m. Sunday.
* El Adelante Avenue: Someone reported a suspicious circumstance
taking place in the 10600 block at 5:43 a.m. Saturday.
* Euclid Street: Police responded to an alleged battery in the 17100
block at 3:41 a.m. Monday.
* Harbor Boulevard: Police responded to a stolen vehicle report in the
16100 block at 9:29 p.m. Sunday.
* La Avenida Cinco De Mayo: A resident reported disturbing phone calls
in the 10300 block at 9:08 p.m. Friday.
* La Terraza Avenue: Police responded to a fight taking place in the
10700 block at 9:32 p.m. Feb. 22.
* Mount Stewart Circle: A burglar alarm was set off in the 18200 block
at 2:07 p.m. Friday.
* San Miguel Court: A resident reported a suspicious subject in the
10000 block at 11:38 p.m. Monday.
* Slater Avenue: Someone reported a juvenile disturbance in the 10200
block at 6:14 p.m. Friday.
* Warner Avenue: Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in
the 11400 block at 2:06 p.m. Friday.
HUNTINGTON BEACH
* Beach Boulevard: A cashier told police that a 14-year-old girl with
long black hair, wearing a black sweatshirt and gray jeans, attempted to
pass a counterfeit $20 bill, and fled the scene when confronted in the
18000 block at 11:45 a.m. Feb. 19.
* Magnolia Street: A resident reported hearing two loud booms sounding
like bombs, which apparently were caused by the Space Shuttle’s flight
overhead, in the 20000 block at 12:27 p.m. Feb. 20.
* Main Street: A woman told police that her grandson stole about 200
checks worth about $7,000 and forged them in his name in the 2000 block
at 5:43 p.m. Friday.
* Newland Street: A resident reported three trucks for reckless
driving as they careened through a dirt lot near the AES Huntington Beach
Generating Station in the 21000 block at 12:47 a.m. Sunday.
* Norma Avenue: A resident said someone was apparently wielding a
knife while at a park pay phone in the 7000 block at 6:27 p.m. Feb. 22.
* Palm Avenue: Police responded to an electrical fire reported in the
6000 block at 11:17 a.m. Sunday.
* Poolside Lane: A man said that thieves reportedly stole his son’s
toy car, valued at $65, from a front lawn in the 21000 block at 10:22
a.m. Friday.
* Roderick Lane: A resident complained to police that someone was
igniting fireworks from a home in the 19000 block at 6:41 p.m. Feb. 19.
* Stark Avenue: Police responded to a family disturbance reported at a
residence in the 7000 block at 9:46 p.m. Saturday.
* Tilburg Drive: Vandals reportedly littered the courtyard of a
building with graffiti, threw eggs on other buildings and spray-painted
the moniker “SCK” on doors and walls in the 5000 block at 6:34 a.m. Feb.

* Utica Avenue: A resident told police that neighbors were throwing
bags of trash, and sometimes empty beer cans, over a back wall, where the
bags then broke open attracting animals in the 500 block at 2:02 p.m.
Feb. 21.
* Viewpoint Lane: A woman told police that her ex-husband was making
terrorist threats to shoot her at her home in the 16000 block at 7:53
a.m. Saturday.
* Yorktown Avenue: Someone allegedly cut a hole in the side of a
building, plugged it with a water hose and then turned on the water which
flowed all night long into a structure in the 700 block at 8:42 a.m. Feb.
