COSTA MESA
* Fairview Road: A grand theft was reported in the 2700 block at 1:55
p.m. Thursday.
* Harbor Boulevard: A 30-year-old man was arrested at 2:58 p.m.
Thursday in the 2300 block on suspicion of committing a petty theft and
possessing an ounce or less of marijuana. There was also an outstanding
warrant for the man’s arrest.
* Royal Palm Drive: A residential burglary was reported at 3:14 p.m.
Thursday in the 3000 block.
NEWPORT BEACH
* 32nd Street and Balboa Boulevard: Police arrested a man on suspicion
of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs at 2:01 a.m. Feb. 25.
* 35th Street and Balboa Boulevard: Police reported that someone
allegedly stole a wallet and money worth $400 from a car at 11:15 p.m.
Feb. 24.
* Avocado Avenue: Police reported that jewelry worth $5,300 was
allegedly stolen from a house in the 500 block at 2:35 p.m. Monday.
* Bayside Drive and East Coast Highway: Police arrested a man on
suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs at 2:30
a.m. Feb. 25. Bail was set at $10,000.
* Eastbluff Drive: Police reported that a computer equipment worth
$2,000 was allegedly stolen from a math lab at Corona del Mar High School
at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
