B.W. COOK -- The Look

In the world of children’s fashion, the Dutch House of Oilily is known

for color, texture, and imagination. Founded some 40 years ago by a

European couple who were then the parents of twin baby girls, Oilily has

grown into a multinational corporation with stores in more than 40

countries. In the United States, Oilily has 35 boutiques, including one

at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.

Their Spring 2001 line is full of colorful surprises. It features

prints of wildflowers and charming little bugs. Camouflage is big with

children and adults this season, and Oilily is right there with their own

version.

Known for combining prints and patterns, the Oilily look is shown for

The Look by Newport Coast model Aria Slovacek, 2. The young runway star

says that Oilily is her very favorite line. She has, after all, been

wearing it since she was a baby. Aria also loves ballet, pink balloons

and cookies -- lots of cookies.
