Community College Softball: OCC blanked by Fullerton

COSTA MESA - The Orange Coast College softball team struggled

defensively and lost, 8-0, to visiting Fullerton in Orange Empire

Conference action Wednesday.

OCC (5-6-1, 0-4 in conference) allowed four unearned runs. Pirates’

catcher Meredith Miles went 2 for 3 with two stolen bases.

Fullerton (16-4, 4-0) took an early lead with an unearned run in the

first inning and benefited from five Coast errors.

Coast plays today at Cypress at 3 p.m.
