* Congress Street: Grand theft was reported in the 900 block at 9:52

a.m. Sunday.

* Gisler Avenue and Harbor Boulevard: Possession of a controlled

substance was reported at 1:15 a.m. Sunday.

* Miner Street: An auto theft was reported in the 2200 block at 7:53

a.m. Sunday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Cumberland: Vandals reportedly drove on a lawn between the curb and

the sidewalk leaving a 27-foot long rut in the grass, in the 1500 block

at 9:04 a.m. Saturday.

* Marguerite and 4th Street: Vandals reportedly shattered the side

window of a home at 11:43 p.m. Saturday.

* Superior Avenue and Placentia Avenue: A vehicle license plate was

reportedly stolen at 2:20 p.m. Sunday.
